Prague's annual trade fair on tourism, Holiday World, opened its doors to visitors on the 14th of February, 2008, with over 700 stands representing 50 countries. Prague Exhibition Ground Holesovice hosted the 17th annual Holiday World Fair, which is considered the biggest tourism show in the Czech Republic. Travco Travel’s representatives Department Manager, Mrs. Inas Mohamed, and the Director of Sales and Marketing of the hospitality company JAZ Hotels & Resorts in Hurghada, Mr.
Magdy Shokry, took the opportunity to promote the hotel brands JAZ, Sol Y Mar and Iberotel, including the newly branded JAZ Resorts, as well as the ones that are currently in the pipeline.

The Egyptian pavilion included many hotels and local travel agencies, and it gave them the opportunity to promote the different destinations in Egypt to the Czech market - given that they are one of the top 10 source markets; adding that there are currently numerous charter flights that fly from different airports in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, to many destinations in Egypt such as Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, and Taba. The volumes that are to be produced from both countries would be of a considerable importance to the Egyptian market, especially in the summer season, as the number of tourists arriving increases.
