As part of its diversity and expansion plan, and to add to its long list of tourist-related services, on the 1st of March, 2008, Travco Group will be launching Quad Safari Land, a company that specializes in quad excursions. This company will be in charge of organizing excursions in Hurghada's desert. Located in the Safari Land in Hurghada, the quad will be providing desert excursions throughout the Red Sea through three different itineraries that are known to be most popular amongst tourists in Egypt. The 3-hour itinerary will comprise a 45 minute excursion into the desert till the guests reach the bedouin village where they will be served tea and drinks with the bedouins, followed by a camel ride, and the choice of smoking shisha. The 5-hour itinerary involves the whole bedouin village trip in addition to a chance of catching the panoramic view of the setting sun at the desert, followed by a dinner. As for the 3rd itinerary, it's called the Quad Star Watching, which is similar to the 5-hour itinerary, but guests are also given high-tech telescopes to view the stars from the vast desert.
