EgyptAir announced that their subsidiary
EgyptAir Express will be inaugurating twice
weekly flights linking Malta to Cairo
starting on the 3rd of July, 2008.

Ltd stated these scheduled flights have been
timed with convenience in mind for both
business and leisure travelers, as flights
depart from Cairo at 2pm on Thursdays and
Sundays, arriving in Malta at 4pm and
flights will depart from Malta on the same
day at 4.45pm and arriving in Cairo at
8.45pm (departures and arrivals all being
indicated in local times).
EgyptAir Express is a scheduled domestic and
regional airline that started operations in
June 2006. EgyptAir Express is a subsidiary
of EgyptAir Holding Co. The Company’s main
base is Cairo International Airport with
secondary bases in both of Alexandria (Nozha
Airport) and Sharm El Sheikh. Current fleet
consists of 6 Embraer ERJ’s 170. Future
fleet expansion is planned on early 2009
with 6 reserved options of either ERJ 170 or
ERJ 190.
