For
the first time in Egypt, Travco Properties &
Engineering participated in “Next Move”, the
first and biggest real estate and property
development fair in Egypt, which was inaugurated
on the 16th and lasted till the 19th of April,
2008. The company showcased both it’s property
development projects – Almaza Bay in Marsa
Matrouh, and Madinat Makadi in Hurghada.
Organized by ACG-ITF Co., the largest exhibition
organizer in Egypt and the leading trade events
organizer in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA)
region, Next Move, the first mega real estate
exhibition and forum in Egypt, took place at the
Cairo International Conference Centre, welcomed
more than 40 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors to
16,000 square meters of exhibition space to
explore various residential and commercial
projects by leading real estate developers in
the Middle East.
Ahmed Ghozzi, Chairman, ACG-ITF, said: “Next
Move offers a relaxed yet vibrant platform for
buyers, developers, and financiers to interact
and discuss the latest and best options for real
estate acquisitions. Financing companies will be
offering various special offers and financing
solutions during this landmark event,
particularly for projects in the booming
Egyptian real estate market. Participants will
be able to have a comprehensive overview at the
lucrative projects presented at the highly
attractive exhibition spaces prepared by the
biggest names in the region’s property
industry.”
Egypt’s real estate market is rapidly expanding
due mainly to aggressive government programs to
promote foreign investments in construction and
real estate projects. The market’s phenomenal
growth reflects the country’s booming economy,
which is expected to surpass a 7.1 per cent
economic growth achieved in 2007 which relied
heavily on tourist revenues. Increased property
projects are expected to further improve Egypt’s
image as a prime tourist destination in the
Middle East.
Visitors showed great interest in both Travco Properties’ mega projects in Almaza Bay in Marsa Matrouh, and Madinat Makadi in Hurghada. The 6.3 square-meter Almaza Bay Resort comprises 3500 residential units in different sizes, six world-class hotels, and is located on one of the most extravagant Mediterranean beaches in existence.
As for the already well established Madinat Makadi Resort Madinat Makadi, it lies on a 4.2 square-meter land, and presents residents with 3500 luxurious residential units, from extravagant villas to spacious apartments.
