For the 10th consecutive year, Travco Dubai partook in MITT, which was held from March 21st to the 24th, as an official co-participant of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM). Travco Dubai was represented by its Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Osama Bushra, and Ms Svetlana Davidar, manager of the CIS Department.

MITT, the largest tourist exhibition in Russia, featured Travco Dubai’s stand, along with 40 other booths of 58 other co-participants from the Emirate’s booming tourism industry. Held at the Expo Centre Krasnaya Presnya, was the 15th edition of the annual fair which has rapidly improved in its mass presentation enabling every participant to make the optimum benefit of featuring their products and services to the entire CIS region; and at the same time offers the great advantage of tying up with many potential partners.

Commenting on the event, Mr. Bushra stated “MITT is the most awaited event of the year where we meet with our long term partners as well as many potential associates, whilst earning more knowledge of the demand and trends of the market. Moreover, Russia and the CIS are important source markets for the Dubai tourism industry with year-on-year increase in hotel guests.”

MITT is one of the five largest tourist exhibitions worldwide, reaching a high number of participants from more than 2700 companies from over 111 countries and regions in 2008.
