Introduction
If shore excursion descriptions sounded boring, no one would book them, so it's no surprise that we add some phrases like "The Fabulous Nile Tour" - "Pyramids and Tombs" - "The first Safari trip in your Life"… etc. from here after you book your excursion we let you enjoy your very short over day trip in any Egyptian Port destination.
Or we can use the ordinary words in your tour so you should be prepared for it: -

"City tour" or "Introduction to..." where you pass by lot of sites without any stops or getting off the buses which is also some times known as "Highlights" excursions. -
"You will see..." This is where you stop with your bus and guide describes points of interest. -
"Photo stop" This is where you should prepare your camera for a short stop to shoot some pictures. -
"Refreshments" Coffee, tea, soft drinks or mineral water during the day. Possibly beer or wine during meals. Otherwise we can include in the tour cost, other than that should be on own account. -
"Beach day use" Transportation to and from a beach hotel or resort where facilities are available such as water activities and water sports. Also we can provide in this tour beverage consumption and lunch. You should bring sun block and beach towel from the ship. -
"Meal" Usually offered during full day tours. Buffet style or set menu also available in this tour beverage package which includes mineral water, soft drinks, tea or coffee and this is usually against supplement or on passenger own account. -
"Walking tour" This is when you should be prepared with comfortable shoes sometimes walking is uneven or on sidewalks or narrow streets. Stairs may also be encountered in some places.

Over day to Cairo Museum & Pyramids from Port Said/Alexandira.
Leaving Port Said in a convoy of luxury a/c coaches en route to Africa’s
largest city, the metropolis of Cairo. Your first stop will be at Tahrir
Square, the heart of down town Cairo. Visit the National Archaeological
Museum and acquaint yourself with Egypt’s ancient history, spanning a
period of over 50 centuries. The Museum has the world’s largest and
richest collection of Egyptian Antiquities, amongst them the priceless
collection of King Tut.
Drive to the Giza Plateau, where the only remaining Wonder of the
Ancient World, the Pyramids of Giza still stand. Visit the Pyramids and
enjoy panoramic views from the Western Plateau, then continue down the
valley where the guardian of this mortuary complex, the mighty Sphinx
lies. Leaving the Pyramids and the Sphinx behind, your tour continues to
the Hotel where an International Buffet Lunch will be served.
After
lunch proceed to Papyrus Institute where the art of paper making from
reeds, discovered by the Ancient Egyptians, will be demonstrated for
you. You will also have time for souvenir shopping before you commence
the return drive to Port Said. |

Pyramids and Tombs of Cairo from Port Said/Alexandria
D epart Port Said in a convoy of luxury air conditioned motor coaches for
the teeming metropolis of Cairo. Reaching the outskirts of the city your
drive continues southwards to Egypt’s first capital, Memphis. Here you
will visit the triad of God Ptah, the fallen colossal statue of King
Ramses the 2nd and the Alabaster Sphinx. A short drive from Memphis
lays the oldest, ancient cemetery of Sakkara. The world’s first
monumental stone building, the Step Pyramid of King Zoser, built by the
architect Imhotep 4600 years ago, still stands. After visiting the
complex you continue to one of the Mastabas (tombs) built nearby, such
as those of Ptah-Hotep or Mereruca for an inside visit.
Return to Cairo and proceed to the Giza Plateau, where the only
remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, the Pyramids of Giza, still
stand.
A unique view of the three Pyramids from the Western Plateau affords
great opportunities for photographs. Having enjoyed the view from this
vantage point, your motor coach will bring you close to the Pyramid of
Kephren and time will be allocated to enjoy the Pyramids at leisurely
pace.
Continue down the valley to visit the guardian of this mortuary complex,
the mysterious Sphinx, watching the passage of time and man in silence.
After the visit drive to hotel for buffet lunch. Afterwards, a short
stop at a Papyrus Institute will introduce you to the process of paper
making from reeds, an art discovered by the Ancient Egyptians. A short
time will be allocated for souvenir shopping before you start the return
drive to Port Said.

Pyramids & Fabulous Nile from Port Said/Alexandria
The drive to Cairo takes around 2 ½ to 3 hours. Arriving in Cairo, your
first stop will be the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of
Mohamed Ali. View the interiors of the Mosque and view the Old Cairo
from the back area of the mosque on the top of the hill. After the visit
drive to the Giza Plateau where the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient
World, the Great Pyramids of Giza are standing.
A panoramic view of the
three Pyramids from the Western Plateau affords great opportunities for
photographs, before your coach parks near the Pyramid of Chephren where
time will be allocated to explore the site. Continue down the valley to
visit the mighty Sphinx. Your next stop will be at a Papyrus Institute
where the art of paper making from reeds will be demonstrated and time
for souvenir shopping will be allocated.
After all visits drive down
town to the banks of the River Nile where a luxurious cruise boat awaits
to sail for 1 and quarter of an hour on the river Nile. Enjoy a buffet
lunch as you sail and watch Cairo’s landmarks. After the cruise before
you return to Port Said. |

Greek & Roman Alexandria
On the northwest side of the Nile Delta, Alexandria, one of the major
summer resorts on the Mediterranean Sea. Visit the National Museum
housing forty thousand valuable relics dating as far back as the 3rd
century B.C. The Tanagra figurines are one of the priceless treasures to
be seen in the museum, giving detailed information on the hairstyles and
dress of the ladies during the reign of Queen Cleopatra.
Visit the Roman
Amphitheater in Kom El Dekka, an area located close to the Roman Museum.
With twelve marble terraces forming a semicircle is considered the only
one of its kind in Egypt.
On the return drive to the ship you will see from your bus two important
and beautiful landmarks. Alexandria’s Abu El Abass Mosque with its tall
minaret and four domes and the Qait Bey Fort (from outside), built on
the original site of the Pharos – Alexandria’s lighthouse and one of the
Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. |

Over day to El Alamein
Drive along the Mediterranean Sea 110 km from the city of Alexandria
considered as one of the most beautiful areas along the Egyptian coasts
to reach the small village of El Alamein (meaning the two worlds in
Arabic).
In 1942 the Allied forces under the command of British General
Montgomery put a halt to the advance of Nazi Africa Corps who considered
El Alamein the gateway to Alexandria and the key to the control of the
African continent.
The Allied victory in the battle of El Alamein marked the beginning of
the end for the Axis Powers in North Africa, crushing the mystique
surrounding the "Desert Fox", German Field Marshal Rommel, whose force
of tanks had previously proved invisible. The Battle of El Alamein was
one of the most violent as well as most important confrontations during
2nd World War.
The first stop will be the Military Museum containing displays of
weapons, military garb and tanks. Descriptions of the actions of
Montgomery, Rommel and the others participating in the battle are also
on display.
Continue to visit the burial site visiting a small peninsula overlooking
the sea, the citadel-like Cemeteries is the final resting place for
Commonwealth, Greek, Italian and German soldiers. After enjoying the
historical feeling we drive to a small rest area by the sea where we can
enjoy the lunch box offered from the ship before our drive back to the
harbor in Alexandria.

Ras Mohamed by boat – Sharm
Lying some 55 km south of Sharm El Sheikh at the peak of Sinai
Peninsula, Ras Mohamed is the most beautiful site in Sinai. It is a
national park, maintained strictly natured and protected from the
incessant <<progress>> humans have by building facilities for
conveniences.
It is renowned for having the most exquisite coral reefs
in the world and for being a refuge to rare marine life.
Your first stop will be at the promontory of Ras Mohamed, rising 60
meters from the sea level. Upon its summit is the so called Shark
Observatory from which you can enjoy a unique view of the Gulf of Aquaba.

St. Catherine by bus from Sharm
T he journey to the earliest surviving bastion of Christianity, the
Monastery of ST. Catherine takes you through breathtaking vistas of arid
rock formation, lasting approximately 03 hours.
Founded by Empress Theodora in 342 A.D at the foothills of Mount Moses
and Megafa Mountain, the Monastery has been a center of worship and
learning for over 1600 years.
From the many aspects of monastery, you will visit the Emperor
Justinian’s Sixth century church, the Mosaic of transfiguration, the
chapel of the Burning Bush, the icons gallery. Jethro’s well and view
the ossuary with its macabre collection of monks skulls high who lived
and worshipped here ever since the existence of the monastery.
The arrival Sharm el Sheikh port is anticipated in the late afternoon.

Over day to Luxor from Hurghada
Your depart early morning from Hurghada in as escorted convoy for a
journey lasting approximately 3 ½ hours. The luxurious motor coaches are
fully air conditioned, with reclining seats and equipped with rest
rooms. Sit back and enjoy the unfolding vistas of barren mountains, flat
desert and fertile areas as your guide introduce you to the history of
Upper Egypt.
Arriving in Luxor you will across the Nile to its West Bank where the
valley of Kings is situated, to visit the amazing Royal tombs. Proceed
to Deir El Bahari to view the finest building in Egypt, a momentous
masterpiece and one of the most impressive in the whole World, the
magnificent Temple of Hatschepsut. Before crossing to the East Bank you
will visit the famous statues of Amenophis III, also known as the
Clossie of Memnon, standing exactly where they once flanked the entrance
to the temple 5000 ago.
A sumptuous buffet lunch will be served at a deluxe Luxor Hotel on the
banks of River Nile. After lunch, you will visit the greatest place of
worship in history, the breath taking Karnak Temple with its unique
Hypostyle hall, sacred lake and avenue of Sphinxes. Photo opportunities
at Luxor Temple will be the last stop in Luxor before joining the
scheduled convoy for return journey to Safaga, where the anticipated
time of arrival will be late evening.

Hurghada
City tour and Submarine ride
An hour’s drive from Safaga, the Sinbad Resort Hotel offers the visitor
the opportunity for a unique experience. Board a submarine for
unforeseeable underwater journey on the Red Sea.
The Submarine will
descent to a depth of approximately 22 meters, where various kinds of
coral have formed beautiful reefs and multicolored fish have claimed for
their habitat. Enjoy the unsurpassed beauty of the deep and take the
opportunity for unique underwater photographs.
After this unique
experience the bus will drive you to the city center where you can enjoy
a 1 hour walk for some souvenirs shopping from Hurghada city before your

Snorkeling and lunch in El Giftun Island
Drive for about 60 kilometers (45 minutes to 1 hour drive) from Safaga
port to the marina at Sheraton hotel where clients will board the small
motor boats to reach the island. Sailing will be for about 45 minutes,
upon arrival at the island clients can choose any umbrella to sit for
the sunbathing at the island. Snorkeling equipments are included and
obtainable at the island’s diving center.
Also snorkeling boat trips are offered from the island and included
