Highlights include: Plaça Catalunya, Via Laietana, the Cathedral and its cloister, the Gothic Quarter, Plaça Sant Jaume (Genralitat and Town Hall). Continue on to the Villa Olimpica (athletes residencial complex during the Olympics) and the Port Olimpic (Olympic harbour), & we’ll go up Montjuich Mountain,which offers a panoramic view of the city and the port. Tour the Stadium, Palu Sant Jordi and Calatrava Tower, visit the Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village). At the same time you will be able to taste the famous Catalan Cava. On our way back to the terminal we’ll make a stop at the famous Hard Rock Cafe.
Half day Montserrat (370 LE adult / 185 LE child)
Driving through picturesque little villages of the province, we come to the incomparable setting on the mountain of Montserrat, rising majestically to 1.235 metres. We’ll visit the Basilica of Montserrat, which holds the famous Verge Moreneta, a 12th century Romanesque carving. On our way back to Barcelona we’ll make a stop at the Port (harbour), where those passengers wishing to do so, may visit the Aquarium and the various restaurants, shops and cinemas in that area on their own.
Full day Gerona with Lunch (720 LE adult / 360 LE child)
Driving along the motorway we’ll arrive in the historical city of Gerona. The houses situated at the very edge of the Onyar and the bridges which span it, are no doubt one of the most authentic and spectacular sights of Gerona. Visit its Cathedral. The interior contains numerous works of art, Gothic tombs and baroque altar paintings. The renowned Tapestry of the Creation (XI th century), the Beatus (X th century) and a rich collection of medieval gold and silver work are exhibited in the Capitular Museum. The steep narrow streetshoused the jewish community of Gerona in medieval Times.
The Arabian baths: Romanic building inspired by the roman public baths with three rooms, each with a different temperature for the water in swimming pools. In spite of the presence of elements of Moslem origin, the construction corresponds to Romanesque. Afterward continue on to Figueres, lunch in a popular restaurant, and visit the Dalí Museum.
Full day Costa Brava with lunch (650 LE adult / 325 LE child)
Visit the 2 most popular "Costa Brava" Touristic Center, Tossa de Mar & Llorett de Mar. Typical fishermans villages with medieval castle. Sea cruise to Fanals Beach. Lunch and leisure time to visit Llorent de Mar.
Panoramic Tour & Flamenco Night with Dinner (750 LE adult / 375 LE child)
We´ll take a brief through different streets of the City, and you will be accompanied to a restaurant, where you will taste a popular tapas menu. We´ll continue on to popular Tablao Flamenco or the Gran Casin.
